The Young Artists Studio is designed to provide the skills and experiences needed by young singers to move from their studies at universities and music conservatories into successful careers in the professional world. The music of the masters, sung by the rising stars of Florida Grand Opera Young Artist Studio, introduces children to the magical sights and sounds of opera, with beautiful costumes and voices. Young Artists have the opportunity to perform or cover mainstage roles, take part in school and community performances, perform art song recitals and perform in the Young Artist Gala of staged operatic scenes.

Each year more than 600 young singer audition for six to ten coveted spaces in the renowned Florida Grand Opera Young Artist Studio, a program that provides today’s most promising young opera stars with the vital musical, dramatic and business training they need to transition from academic to professional careers.

Each Young Artist attends the program free of charge and is provided with housing, utilities, health insurance, round-trip travel, and a modest weekly stipend to cover living expenses. More than one hundred graduates of Florida Grand Opera’s Young Artist Studio, now appear on the stages of the nation’s leading operatic productions, expanding FGO’s impact on the opera world at large and keeping South Florida artistically relevant.

Tickets available for online purchase until 9 am concert day. Tickets purchased on-line within 6 days of the concert will be available at the "Will Call" desk one hour before concert on performance day. Tickets can be purchased at the box office on concert day with cash, check, mastercard or visa. Seats are Non-Reserved.

Please note: an automatic fee of $2.00 will be added to your total at check out. Tickets must be purchased more than 7 days prior to concert in order to be mailed to you, otherwise they will be available at the 'will call' one hour before concert.
